So fine, the EU vote didnt go the way I wanted it to, or expected it to, but anyway, regardless, I accept the result of the democratic vote, unlike more than 2 million others, who are demanding another vote, because it wasnt the result they wanted. I know, just over a million, on a vote of over 33 million, but we have to take it, that needs to be faced. I am at least, whatever I think.
Alright, fine, if I actually qualified for an Irish passport, I might have taken my chance by applying for one, just to be able to stay in Europe. Only thing is, last distant point in lineage for that is grandparents, and my last known lineage is great grandparents. Equally, if I was at an early point in my working life, I might look to move over there, and work, but seriously, at 58, its not going to happen. Its been hellishly hard finding work over here, without attempting to find work over there, so I guess I’m stuck with it.
Irony, getting a Green card to go to the US is far easier for Irish folk, than British ones, but all the same…
And no, I dont think at this point in my life, moving to a part of Europe that involves learning a whole new language is going to work with me, either! Well, unless someone can offer me a direct neural download to make me fluent in just about any language, and then you have a deal, regardless! Yes, I’d enjoy that FAR too much! 😀
Moving further afield? Well, yes, fine, I’d love to move to North America, but given my age, my talents, and everything else, its not going to happen, unless some crazy soul proposes marriage! No, I cant see that happening either! But yes, if someone wants to take a chance on me (job sponsorship, marriage, or whatever), feel free to offer.
Even further afield? Well, as far as I know, currently, all other planets, and the Moon, are pretty much out for habitation at present. If someone knows otherwise, I’ll go as human, robot, or cyborg, open to all suggestions there. Oh, and if an alien wants me to go even further afield, then feel free to come and get me, ideally in one of these!
