OK, fine, let me say before any greedy musical producers get any ideas, this concept (as far as I know) is purely fictional, but, given how often pop groups have been created, both now, and in the past, well…? Yes, story blog time again.
Of course, the irony here, through bias, is that the video isnt a girl group, but anyway…
Beyond briefly, in a tribute group, as a teen, I’ve never been in any pop groups in my life. That was a relatively brief, fun experience, but not one I’m ever going to replicate now, lets face it. No, I wouldnt have a clue where any other member of that group was now for the so called revival tour, after nearly 45 years! Of course, using the method in the story, I guess its not beyond the realms of possibility that I could be transformed into a stunning, sexy young woman, and be lead singer of a group, but I wouldnt put any money on it, lol! For me, it was just a brief fun thing, between acting stuff, and never anything more, but so many have made it, or not made it over the years, I guess?
Question I ask is, are manufactured groups really any worse than the standard way of forming a pop group anyway? Many are just groups of friends who thought they could work together (some did, some didnt), and just saw where it took them. For most, at best, a brief moment of fame, for most, not even that. Obviously some made it big (apt one would be Spice Girls), all the same.
Me, I’m glad I performed, even at a lower level in life, but I cant say the whole pop music thing offers much attraction to me. Of course, if like this, or otherwise, the chance arose, I might think differently. More likely I suspect musicals would have appealed to me, but anyway.
But yes, all the same, if someone wants to use Weaver Tunes, and play me ‘The Most Beautiful Girl In The World’, I wouldnt complain! Wont hold my breath, mind.
Right, video time. I know, a manufactured boy group, so its partly there at least. But I love this song, cant think of any other way I’d fit in here, so…
