The problem with passwords

The problem nowadays with this modern computerised world is that you need passwords for just about everything you do. Dont get me wrong, its a very good idea to have all your important stuff securely protected, but there are times when it just messes you up. For me, Monday was one of those.

Dont get me wrong, the whole Capital letter stuff, and using a number is fine for all things (and I do), but there are the odd ‘very secure’ site that needs something extra, and I keep a safe list of those at home, because thats the only place I’m likely to need them. If you saw the action I had to do when changing laptop, you dont want to know, lol.

But Monday, I had to take some paperwork in, so they can start the process for getting me my medically related benefits, but what I didnt know was that I had to put something on the website before taking it in for them to confirm, and I didnt know that. Now my username, yes, I know that. My password, not, seemingly. So I had to come home, sort it out, and thankfully my friend, Linda could go in with it the next day, so its all sorted now. Yes, I had to use one of those non letter/number things in the password, ah well… Yes, thankfully, they saw how ‘damaged’ I was, and said I didnt need to go back in, thank goodness. But yes, still felt guilty about Linda needing to go back in, but thats just me!

Yes, I wish someone would fit me with an AI unit in my brain so that I didnt have to remember all these things ever again! Oh, and fine, I’d enjoy that op, anyway.

Right, video time. I know it wasnt the alphabet bit of the password that stumped me, but I still thought this rather apt!
