Still ‘normal’ after all these years?

I know, doesnt sound like me, does it, lol? Well, apparently one part of me is still normal after all these years, my blood! Probably is the only part of me that is normal, but besides all that…

Yes, I rang up and got my blood test results today, and it seems they’ve all come back fine. So, if you want to look at it positively, the only thing wrong with me at present is the fracture in my back, which is of course down to osteoporosis, and old age. Of course, given the related pain due to that, its only a mixed blessing, I guess? Thankfully, today hasnt been too bad, I’ve spent most of the day in my brace corset, and probably because I’ve been taking it relatively easy, the pain has been pretty minimal, but I’m sure that work on the next 2 days might change that lol! 😛

And yes, I only wear the brace corset as a back support, and nothing to do with the sensation of having my waist pulled in, which I enjoy far too much! 😉

No, despite everything, even though I probably should at this point, I’m determined not to believe I’ve acted in public for the last time. In truth, I probably have, not only because my part options would now be a lot more limited, but also the fact its been a few years now, and in terms of seriously competing for roles, no I havent done much of late! Well, beyond writing about the dream, pretty much nothing! So yes, it probably is over, but I’m not going to officially retire just yet!

As to me being normal, oh fine, I fail on most counts! Have done that for a long, long time, in truth. I mean, its perfectly normal to want to be turned into a robot, fly in an alien spacecraft, and have ECT (mild, ideally) as research for a book! And lets face it, they are just 3 of the weirdest things, in a pretty crazy lifestyle attitude! Oh, and as for the dream of time travelling, and finding out what Clara Johnson’s lifestyle was like, well…rolls eyes…

So yes, lets face it, I’m probably right when I say that the only thing normal about me, is my blood! The rest of me, still crazy after all these years, and still dreaming of more craziness, however unlikely that is now.

Which leads me to the video, the obvious one, a live version…

I just need to draw a little blood…

Oh fine, before anyone gets too excited or anything, it was just a little prick for a blood test. OK, fine, this old lady might have quite enjoyed a vampire biting her on the neck, and all that, but no, far more boring lol! Nor did they inject (to my knowledge) any secret transforming serum into my body either. So fine, all in all, a bit of a let down lol!

One thing I’ve never done, or at least remember ever doing, is dressing up for Halloween. Principally because its never been the same big event over here that it is in the US, and even now, when a few do dress up at least, it certainly didnt happen over here about 50 years ago, when I was young!

So yes, I sort of feel like I’ve missed up on all that dress up fun, and its not likely to happen now. The only time I’ve even been close to a proper Halloween was 2 years ago, when I was in LA until a few days before the big event, but thats as good as its got. And yes, over there, I’m pretty sure that even as an adult, I could have got in on the dressing up fun, if I’d been so inclined.

I must admit, I’d probably be more into dressing up properly as a witch, than a vampire, though if I was given the chance to do it, as the latter, I would! Oh fine, a robot would be even better, and I’m sure it could be done, but the others are more traditional, and would still be fun, so… But yes, under normal circumstances now, end of October wouldnt be a normal visiting time for me to the US. And by the time I can, post retirement, the body probably wont be up to all that dressing up, and wandering around stuff. Besides which, you normally need children somewhere around, so might have an issue there too, lol! 😛

So, no the blood test didnt involve the blood being taken from my neck, by any means. Just a needle into a vein, near the elbow, and plenty of blood removed, and that was it! What a letdown lol! Results in a week or two, though I’m not expecting to be told I’m a vampire, somehow!

For once, the video, I have no idea who this is, which is rare. And no, I’m not the cute blonde, vampirically transformed back into my youth either! Oh, I wish… 😉

The need for enhancement

Oh fine, the updates on my personal health that not many will worry about, but hey, you have to be told, I guess, from time to time? OK, I’ve included some ‘more interesting’ stuff, for those so inclined as well.

To keep the details brief, the results of the scan have shown that my bone density reading is low, though I havent been told how low, but judging by the issues I’ve been having, I doubt its anywhere close to good! End result of that, I’ve got to go up the hospital on Tuesday, where they’re going to try and find some blood they can take for testing, pretty much every standard test going, judging by the list on the packages!

Of course, hopefully, this is just their secret plan, and they are just checking my suitability for a full cybernetic/robot upgrade? 😉 Oh fine, I wish, but not likely to happen! Would I accept if it was, you bet I would! 😀

Oh fine, something equally unrealistic to actually happen, but which I would love to have done, is the neural transfer of information. Just imagine, if only for a short while, I could be made to think just like Clara Johnson, it would be fascinating to see life through her eyes, and think like her. And yes, I’d love it if it was all done like this. Unbelievable to think this was from nearly 50 years ago, when I was a young child lol. But yes, Harlean 90, oh please!
