We wont need no education!

But no, before you ask, the video isnt Pink Floyd! Lol!

Beyond a few special people, most of my finds on Facebook, and Twitter nowadays tend to come down to pot luck! Those near the top when I look in, or on those ‘you may have missed’ feeds on Twitter, which I guess play to my favorites anyway? So yes, nowadays, the random ones tend to be the ‘pot luck’ factor, of being near the top when I log in, and yes, the Tweet that led me to this was one of those.

https://lifeboat.com/blog/2017/06/scientists-claim-to-upload-knowledge-into-the-brain-using-matrix-style-device

Yes, I would love to have that done to me, but I guess that will surprise no one? Yes, wouldnt it be so much easier if we could learn new information in life, by a method like this? I know, there are plenty who would say no, but me, I couldnt learn enough that way, believe me!

And for people like me, its not just the complex stuff (though it would be very handy for that) that I’d love to learn that way, but yes, maybe I could get my head around the metric measurement system used generally here in Europe now, as opposed to the good old Imperial system that I grew up with, and thankfully the US still uses! I can cope when they are all in the same unit, but when you get questions, and one measurement is in millimeters, another in centimeters, and others in meters, yes, my brain goes to mush! I know, feet, yards, and miles are more complex, but at least I’ve grown up with them all my life.

So, if something could upload this knowledge into my mind, by brain stimulation, using electricity, yes, win, win for me! So yes, if those scientists want someone they can try all that out on, and they can even make it a lengthy process if they wish, feel free to let me know! Oh fine, the longer the process, the better, but… 😉

Right, video time. They say this is rare, and they’re right, Gary Numan smiles, thats rare! Oh, and a very young Billy Currie trying to look cool too!

If you want to become a robot, prepare to be zapped!

Generally in stories where someone is turned into a robot, it involves one of two methods. The trendy, and more modern method, generally involves an injection of specially created nanites, that work on the human mind, and body, turning someone from flesh and bones, into metal, and circuitry. As far as I know, currently, said nanites only exist in fictional works, though agreed, if they did, it would probably be the most effective way of transforming someone.

The other popular method used for said transformation, and which always the one used in the classic movies of the past, involves the use of electricity, to transform said person. Back in the B Movies, this was also used for creating all sorts of monsters as well. And yes, I’d be remiss if I didnt mention that amazing scene in Metropolis, at this point. Technically, that wasnt so much a robotization, as a mental download into a robot body, as Maria was, err, well relatively fine, afterwards! Mind, it gives the impression that quite a lot of electrical activity might have been passing through her mind to create this!

But in things like the Bride of Frankenstein and the like, then the whole body gets quite a delicious amount of electricity through her whole self. Yes, fine, I might enjoy that experience.

Of course, strictly, in the real world, that much electricity passing through the human mind, and body, tends to be fatal. Of course, in theory, I guess that the idea is that you become a robot before that moment kicks in, and of course robots love to be charged up by a good dose of electricity! Sometimes of course, those nanites get activated by said charge of electricity, which gets around the death issue, I guess, as the body has been adapted to enjoy that effect. How either of these option work in reality, who knows at present, as its beyond the realms of current technology, as far as I know?

Of course, back then, and indeed, until recent times, electricity was actually used to kill people, the good old electric chair! For an article re this, follow the link at http://weburbanist.com/2011/03/20/old-sparky-the-shocking-history-of-the-electric-chair/ to discover more. Oh fine, I’d love to sit in one of those chairs, and be connected up as they were, though ideally while the mains leading to the chair is very much switched off! Fine, I might not say no, if it wasnt connected up, but I know which I would prefer!

The only electric chair I’ve actually had close contact with, was many years ago, in an amusement arcade. Yes, thats right, an electric chair in an amusement arcade. No, it wasnt real, just a seat that you sat in, put your head into the cap, and placed your hands on the two metal bars, and got shocked! No, not really, as far as I can tell, though it definitely made your hands tingle. But given the vibration in the bars, I assume it was a device, and not real electricity. Anyway, what happened was, the vibration just got stronger, and stronger, until your hand came off, that broke the ‘circuit’ and you got your reading.

I assume none of these machines still exist, but if someone knows one that does, I’d love to do it again, believe me! No, sadly, I cant remember what they were actually called. Equally, I have no idea if they were only a UK, or a worldwide thing.

But yes, one of those, or something even more inventive, then yes, I’d love to, and I wouldnt mind electricity actually being used, err, relatively safely, on me! So if you want to do that to me, let me know, please!

Right, video time. You could say the group are apt, for this blog, and you could say this might be where you end up, after the electricity has finished you off. Unless of course, that electrical charge has turned you into a robot…bleep

Cruel To be Kind? (Adult Nature)

Hopefully at least some of my readers will understand what I’m getting at, if I mention the pain v pleasure conundrum?

For many with the pain, and pleasure kink, it seems to involve getting smacked, whacked, or something even worse. I know its each to their own, but I really have to admit, thats not my scene. Me, I like my pain to be intense, in a different sort of way.

I suspect thats the robot play thing, for me, because lets face it, robots are obedient creatures, so dont need to be punished by spankings, of any kind! So yes, the areas I like to feel intensity revolve around my nipples, because lets face it, its one of the big charging points, in any scene that you see. Ideally, it involves a ‘little bit’ of electricity being applied, through electrodes, generally a Tens machine, or something like it. Fine, I quite enjoy similar, though lower voltage intensity through the head, and neck as well, very much the robot brainwashing/programming thing, I guess?

But there is a non electrical way to get the nipples tingling as well, any variation of nipple clamps. In some ways, they are more delicious, because though the electricity pulses (more apt for a robot), these little babies stay tightly clipped, until removed. Fine, the really serious ones, I cant take for very long, but the slightly (and I mean only slightly) less intense ones, yes, I can take them, and enjoy them, for a while. Indeed, nowadays, pretty much the only way I can get really aroused, involves a little bit (or more) of pain.

I actually had a nicely nippy pair, that a friend got me, but they went astray when I changed rooms here, and I havent been able to find them, and yes, I’m missing them! But currently, I’m really not prepared to spend money on something like that, that I can live without, when I have very limited money coming in. Anyway, cut a long story short, the subject of spanking came up on one of my more adult forums, and I commented on my personal preferences, and how I was missing them. Anyway, to cut a long story short, one wonderful guy on there has sent me the money to buy some new ones! So yes, I’m going to be a happy girl again, very soon. Hopefully, before I next feel the need to relieve a few stresses (probably next weekend), getting my motor going might be a bit easier.

Of course, if someone wants to offer to wire me up, and get my motor going electrically, yes please! Or, they can take that electrical control a step further, I really wouldnt mind! 😉

OK, video. Well, you could say a nice pair of nipple clamps, fixed on to my nipples, could be just this?

Never too old to study?

Its fair to say, that at 57, I had assumed my days as a student were well and truly over. Given the last examination I took, was in 1976 ( An A grade in Accounts O Level), a reasonable conclusion, you might say. Yes, I am that old, and it has been that long!

Thats right, GCE (as they were back then) O Levels is as high a standard of education as I own, as I had to go out to work as soon as I’d finished my O Levels at school, in 1974 (the last one was at a local college, night course), as my mother was a single parent, so it was fait accompli.

Its why it took me 29 years to do what most do in their gap year after school to travel, and see a bit of the world (several months in the US), because it was only at that point (after her death) that I was able to take some time out, and do it! Apart from a Christmas seasonal job, I’d had to stop work for a while, so it seemed the obvious time to do it.

But study again, at my age (even then I was 45), seriously, no! Until now!

Its fair to say that while I was working, any thoughts of studying were put on the back burner, as I was earning money, had a settled life, and all that, until recently, when I was made redundant. A friend posted about an open evening, at a seminary, in the US, and studying there. I joked I was too old, but he disagreed. And yes, it struck me what a wonderful move that would be, both personally, and religiously. But the complexities of needing degrees, and the acceptance of me being allowed to study in the US made that all a bit of a step too far.

As people also know, I have a bit of an interest in science matters, especially anything involving electrics, though most of what I’ve written about until now has been purely fiction, though I suspect that in the next 20 years or so, some of it will become science fact! But when a Twitter contact mentioned an open day, at his university, for courses on Electrical Engineering, I again said I’d love to do that, if I was younger. Again I get told that you’re never too old for these things!

So now I’m considering going to an open day, in a fortnights time, and signing up for a foundation course in Electrical Engineering. Who knows, even at my age, maybe I can really make something of myself? Wouldnt that be something?

Well, it would certainly be something different, which is what I wanted, for sure! And no problems with working, and living in the UK either! Fine, I’ll check the trains! 😉

The video, a live version of a very obvious song! (To say, video includes strobe lighting)

Thoughts inside your head

So, given that tomorrow is going to be a poignant, personal posting, lets focus on science fact today, and all the mind controlling possibilities it brings about.

Earlier this year, someone pointed out this article to me, and it appealed no end, for some strange reason:

I tried a brain-altering wearable that allows users to change their moods on demand

No, not for the benefits it might bring in ending drug dependence issues, and entirely on the fact that it was zapping electricity into the brain, and affecting your moods. Oh, believe me when I say that 100% setting appeals to me no end, and of course I’d love to try 120%, what kind of girl do you think I am, lol? 😉

Well, now it seems that the project has come to reality, as per an article which I saw about this in the last few days

http://www.thync.com/science-and-technology

Oh please, I so want to have that zapping things into my mind, so much! Sadly it works on you through a mobile phone app, and as my regular readers will know, I dont bother with such modern devices! But seriously, if anything was going to tempt me to get one, this would be it! Blow making calls, doing text messages, or anything else, I just want a phone, so I can zap my mind (at nice levels), with this lovely device, called Thync.

Yes, I see some irony in the name, given about the one think that you are less likely to be doing while your brain is being electrified this way, is thinking! Hey, with luck (and my mind control kink), the less thinking you can do while wearing this, the better!

Seriously, I’d love to experience this, and not the feeble 20 minute session that the original article mentioned, I want the whole glorious hour, or longer! Oh, purely for beneficial reasons, honestly…I do tend to take some time to go to sleep at night, so using that device to calm me down, and make me all sleepy…see, it is for beneficial purposes.

Oh, what? Fine, not entirely, but there would be good benefits too, so…Why do I never get invited to test something like this out? Ah well…But, if anyone from Thync sees this, and wants volunteers to try out, err, Mark 2, or anything, please, please ask me! Or even this one, on 150%, say… 😉

The video, well, that proved a challenge, seeing I’ve used most of the good mind, or electricity related songs by now. So, I came up with this

An old story returns

Its funny, isn’t it? You would assume that by now that a story written 11 years ago had lived out its time? Wrong, so it seems!

Yes, back in 2002, I wrote a story called ‘The Carolina Experiment’, shortly after my last visit to Richmond, Virginia. Funnily enough, just as I’m about to head back there for the first time since then, I start a flow of emails with someone about the story. Unsurprisingly I only know him by his ‘online’ email name, nothing more, but thats irrelevant. What is relevant is the subject matter, which in this case wasnt actually a true robotisation, but more about brain implants, and the effect they can have on the human mind. Of course, given it was a mind control story, its not hard to work that out! The interesting concept was the one that settings could be at different levels of control, from 10, where the person would barely realise they were being controlled, and theoretically be able to refuse, if something really abhorrent was suggested, through to 100, where you would be the thoroughly obedient, and pretty mindless robot. No prizes for working out which end of the scale appealed to me back then, and probably would still do so today!

Anyway, we’ve developed a pretty interesting discussion on all such matters, and its even headed into other related areas, including I suspect, ECT, also known as Electro Convulsion Therapy, or Shock Therapy by some. An interesting issue for me, as it was suggested for me at one point in my life, though never applied. Funny, isnt it, I probably would have loved it being done to me, but anyway…

Anyway, always nice to know the old stories dont die, they just fall asleep for a while lol! But if anyone wants to fit me with an implant, or zap me with a nice high voltage helmet and/or bodysuit, then ask, I’m not likely to say no!

Oh, and on a loosely related matter, I’m off on holiday Saturday, and getting my hair done Friday. Sadly, on no trip to the hairdresser has the following ever happened to me, but I can dream.

Well, the stage show should be something!

So alright, it probably wont be, just the 4 guys on stage, but if they ever go in for a stage show as a backdrop, what a sight it could be. Yes, OMD, who else did you think I was talking about? I have hopes of the latter in May, but suspect that it might just be the former somehow.

Well yes, along with brainwashing (History of Modern), and robot related one (Kissing the machine), and distinctly interesting pieces (Tesla Girls, to name but one), and besides all that, we all know that ‘Electricity’ is used to create robots, dont we? 😉

Well this year, in conjunction with the tour, we get a new album, called ‘English Electric’, released in early April. And Andy McCluskey, to give him his due, has given us a couple of sample videos for tracks from the album. Decimal is the other one, should be easily found on You Tube if you so desire. Word of warning, if you expect the type of music you are used to from OMD, this might be different! Nearly 30 years ago, they released an album called Dazzle Ships, which was a bit, err, different. The samplers so far from EE, suggest we have a bit more of the same here. For example

This is a remix, not the original, but its neat, and yes, the original is on You Tube as well, if you want to find it

Yes, its not hard to work out which line in here amused me no end! Well, if thats what you want Andy, then just robotise me lol! The video actually has a few clever touches for long term fans, but I suspect otherwise, you might not get them. It looks more like he’s seeking the Stepford type robot wife, than the mindless chrome one, but hey, that wouldnt be too bad a life, lets face it.

Seriously, can you imagine the stage set for this? Take a girl, put her in a brainwashing chair, then pulse some electricity through her, Tesla Coil or otherwise. And thereby create the perfect robot wife, and then you get to ‘kiss the machine’ afterwards. Yes, so alright, the brainwashing wouldnt really happen, and the electricity would have to be a light show, but…Oh come on Andy, this could be fun, and yes, I’m volunteering to be transformed this way. I know, I’m old, but I’m only just over a year older than him, so… 🙂

Sadly, it will just be the 4 guys on stage I guess, but no harm in suggesting, is there? 😉 And yes, I have mentioned the concept of this on their Facebook page, but no one has come back to me lol!
