They think its all over, it is now!

Though there is no sign of any crowd on the pitch! Mind, unless you’re Britsh, and remember 1966, you might not get that comment lol! Well, New Order, and 1990 did revive it, but all the same…

Yes, not only is the story now officially finished, its been edited to be readable by some wonderful man, and sent to Simon as well, though only after a modicum of delay, as the internet crashed here for about half an hour or so. Alright, I cheated, I went and got my wireless pointer device and sent it off, but…all good fun!

As some may had noticed, it had been a while since I’d written much, certainly anything longer than a 1 chapter short story, thats for sure. Though none of the 3 chapters are that long, its nearly 10K as a whole, and thats definitely been a long while since that happened. The main pleasant surprise was that the actual writing process actually was a pleasure. Whether that was because I was writing something fresh, and with a great inspiration, or whether it was simply a case of taking the time factor out of it, and the words flowed. Either way, the only frustration I had was finding time to get the words down, not trying to find any to put down.

So yes, I got something out of it that I hadnt felt for a while towards the end of my regular writing, a pleasure in writing a story. There were a couple that had made me feel that way, though ironically neither are on the Archive for various reasons. But in terms of general MC writing, I’d hit a major rut!

I’m not saying when I will write again, though that will be more down to time than desire, its fair to say, but it will happen at some point, I enjoyed doing it again, not a task that had to be done.

I did think about letting you all hear a ‘certain lady’ talking, but hey, if you want to do that, its not hard to find on You Tube. There is an interesting interview in 4 parts on there, but also a section from a talking movie, where it is actually Louise talking, which thanks to Heather, was how I found out how Margaret, sorry, Louise actually spoke in the first place.

But no, lets go with a pop video, hopefully some will spot the connection here at least, I’m sure James, and probably Heather will, if no one else does.

No Garfunkel here, just Simon, a track from the Graceland LP, one of the greats of all time
